10TH INTERNATIONAL  AORTIC SUMMIT

Aortic surgery is a rapidly growing speciality in India and at the heart of it, ICAD (Institute of Cardiac & Aortic Disorders) - SIMS Hospital is proud to announce the 10th Aortic Summit which will be held in person on November 18th - 20th, 2022. The Aortic Summit is a biennial event held in Chennai for the last two decades.

The Summit aims to promote and cultivate aortic, aortovascular medicine and surgery in India and globally. Over the last two decades, we resonated from Chennai with the voices and experiences of many experts and leaders in this field, and we continue to do so despite the global challenges that encircle us all.

This year’s program features live operations streamed live from ICAD operating theatres. Surgeons will show their skills, suppleness, and decision-making processes. Also, the program features a Keynote lecture by Prof. Joseph Coselli. The galaxy of international faculty includes eminent surgeons from the USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Thailand. There will be dedicated sessions - 'Expert Led Presentation' in which invited experts will share their approaches and showcase their adroitness in complex aortic surgery. In addition, the program includes Pro-Cons Great Debates on controversial and current topics and Case-Based Discussions.
