Greetings from the Indian Association of Cardiovascular Thoracic surgeons!
Applications for Fellowships starting in 2026 are herewith solicited. The IACTS is pleased to further the cause of advanced training in all subspecialties in the field of Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery with a view to excellence and providing specialized services in every nook and corner of our country.
Candidates may apply for fellowships in their areas of interest. Fellowships in various areas of specialization are provided at varying levels and durations.
These are tabulated and presented. You may apply for the one of your choice. You need to be a full member of the IACTS to apply for the fellowship. You may discuss with the mentors offering these fellowships if needed.
To apply, you may kindly fill the form and submit. All applications are to be made before July 5th 2026 11:59:59 pm IST. The application fee of Rs 5500 is applicable Click here to pay. Please upload you Curriculum vitae, your medical council registration and the qualifying degree certificate which is to mean your cardiovascular and thoracic surgery degree certificate. Kindly provide the name, email id and mobile number of the cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon with whom you currently work. There will be an examination at the end of the fellowship and qualification therein will entitle the candidate to the fellowship certificate of the IACTS.

Nota bene: The IACTS Executive Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application.
Overseas members may also apply. They need to upload their qualification certificate and send their licence and approval from NMC to us at secretary@iacts.org.
An exit exam will be conducted at the end of the course by the mentor / institute at their own expense. A panel of atleast two examiners of whom atleast one is an externa examiner is mandated by the IACTS. Qualification in the examination will entitle the candidate to the Fellowship certificate.
The mentor / institute reserve the right to terminate any fellowship at any stage of the fellowship unilaterally with a two week notice.
